Read Me a Story
The only thing Hugo wanted was to read his books…away from those who made fun of his habit of reading aloud. So he ran away to the forgotten place to read and be alone. Yet as he would read his books aloud, Hugo could not shake the feeling someone or some “thing” was watching him. “But this is the forgotten place,” he thought, and shrugged off the notion that anyone would be present and not laugh at him for reading out loud. Yet some who hear stories read aloud don’t wish to mock or laugh as Hugo had grown accustomed. Some creatures, simply wish to listen.
The Grim Bunny # 11! For the delight and exercise of your imagination! Like and share, pass TGB around because that’s what TGB likes!
So, even though all my TGB entries have been pretty quick sketches, I’m having a bit of trouble finding time for these while I’m in the thick of my translation project and looking for work for next Fall. Since twelve is a nice number, I’m thinking I will figure that TGB runs in series of 12—so next week’s TGB will be the last for this series, but I hope to return to it after not too long! Will probably take some time to build up some more selections for next time, and going to think over whether to approach the next set any differently than this time. Meanwhile, I may take some of my TGB sketch time and apply it to putting together a few products (finally), as I’ve been saying I would.
So if you want to see TGB return, be sure to share your favorites from the first 12! Hopefully will include some bonus sketches with the next entry as well. Remember, I’ve got archives for TGB here and here! And as always, you can support me through my Redbubble store.
