Willoughby’s Traveling Tub
Willoughby loved to travel. His preferred mode of travel was neither plane nor train, nor bicycle, unicycle or or motorcycle. He hated the automobile, though not as much as hot air balloon. “Boats would be wonderful” he thought “except for all that floating about on pools and ponds and oceans of water.”
No, when Willoughby traveled, he traveled by bathtub. There are bathtubs for bathing, and bathtubs for swimming. But a bathtub for traveling, well that’s something else entirely. So on days when the world seemed far to ordinary, simple and cold, Willoughby would board his traveling tub in hopes of seeing someplace extraordinary.
More watercolor practice. Not sure I will be posting any of these on DA, but we’ll see. Just wanted to get a bit more familiar with the medium—I’ve always loved watercolor, but even back when I took art in high school I mostly used watercolor pencils, and now I’m too accustomed to either digital or pure line art (mostly the former). Not sure why several of them are sideways, and I’m too tired to figure out how to fix it now, so oh well.
